CREW Membership Program Series – March 20, 2012

Re-cap of March 20th Professional Development Event

The first installment of the Professional Development Series program on March 20th was a success drawing 21 members and guests from diverse companies and backgrounds to the event for an executive coaching session led by Joan Fletcher of Winning Ways. Attendees were asked to “Lead Themselves First” and completed enriching personal exercises to work on improving personal leadership aspects of their own lives. A special thank you goes out to Jones Lang LaSalle for donating the conference room for the program and to Fulton Bank for proving breakfast. Stay tuned as we look ahead to the second program on June 5th and the third program on October 24th!

Event Description:

Lead Yourself First! Adopt new techniques to be able to lead yourself more successfully in your professional and personal life. Learn why it is essential to be comfortable with leading yourself before others will follow you as a leader. Know what you want to say, commit to it and state it with meaning!

Speed Networking Event – January 24, 2012

The January 24^th Annual CREW Northern Virginia Speed Networking event was a success and drew 29 members and guests from diverse companies and backgrounds to the event for 8 rounds of five minute speed networking sessions before enjoying a buffet lunch by Maggiano’s of Tyson’s Corner. Congratulations to Kathleen Shultz of Atlantic Duct Cleaning for winning the raffle for a free 2012 membership.

Sharing our Toys for Tots with our US Marine guests!

Despite the rainy evening on December 7th, we had a great turnout at CREW NoVA’s Holiday Party at Paradise Springs Winery in Clifton, VA. We also presented our honored US Marine guests with a check for Toys for Tots.

It was fun to see so many new faces – we wish one and all a happy holiday season!
