Communications/Public Relations Committee
The Communications/Public Relations Committee functions as a marketing and communications driving force behind CREW NoVA and is focused on enhancing the image and credibility of the organization. The Communications/Public Relations Committee positions CREW NoVA and its members in a positive and professional manner through a network of communication tools. The committee is responsible for promoting and publicizing monthly events and activities, branding, promotional items, maintaining the chapter website, and the chapter's weekly email. Community Action/CREW Network Foundation Committee
The Community Action Committee organizes fundraisers, volunteer events, and donations/collections for various community service organizations, nonprofits, and community-minded groups. We focus our efforts on Northern Virginia organizations that support women and children.

Senior Property Manager
The Membership Committee seeks to build a membership that is diverse in experience and profession. The committee is proactive in their recruitment of new members as well as the retention of CREW NoVA’s existing members. We recognize the importance of committee participation for engaging our membership as a means for creating value for the organization and our members.
The Membership Committee also hosts new member breakfasts, briefing new members on the benefit of CREW NoVA and allowing new members the chance to meet the board and committee members. Please contact the director for the committee’s meeting schedule.
The Programs Committee organizes 4 events annually with dynamic speakers, hot topics of interest, and the chance to feature women in real estate. The committee brainstorms topics, speakers, and locations for our events. Specific tasks include developing the program idea, coordinating with the speakers, determining the venue, and providing event information to the Communications Committee to disseminate to the members and guests of CREW NoVA. Day-of responsibilities include greeting attendees, working the registration table, providing technical assistance to the speakers, and capturing the event through photography. The Programs Committee meetings are generally held the first Thursday of each month. Please contact the Director for the committee’s meeting schedule.
The Sponsorship Committee is responsible for coordinating and leading the effort to identify and solicit key industry companies to help fund Chapter activity and promote CREW NoVA. The committee is proactive in ensuring that sponsors increase brand awareness, which helps to generate consumer preference and to foster brand loyalty.

The Professional Development Committee helps promote member-to-member connections and enhances the value of membership by identifying and organizing events and programs that foster business connections and growth. Topics focus on consultation, coaching, communities of practice, mentoring, reflective supervision, and technical assistance. Please contact the Director for the committee’s meeting schedule.
The Professional Development Committee also is responsible for two of our most popular programs, Young Professionals and Connecting Leaders, CNCC's mentorship program. Building effective leaders is key to advancing the commercial real estate industry. Through our Young Professional Women's Group, and Mentoring Program, CREW NoVA provides members with high-level professional development training, as well as opportunities to serve on our board and committees to demonstrate and enhance leadership skills.

The Special Events Committee organizes the Annual Awards ceremony that recognizes the achievements of our members and member-firms in commercial real estate. Committee members will develop a strategic plan for the Annual Awards and will assist with the planning, communications and obtaining sponsorships to help achieve the mission and goals of the events.
