Describe your current position:
I’m the Account Manager for a local commercial moving and warehouse company, Office Movers Express. I connect with new clients on their projects, foster relationships with returning clients, and work with our marketing team on campaigns and our social media.
Describe your career history (years of experience, previous employment, etc.)
I’ve worked at my current role for almost 4 years, but before that I managed a local flower shop, help start a church, and worked in the fashion and wedding industry. My resume is vast, but they’ve all been invaluable building blocks in my career journey.
What attracted you to CREW NoVA?
I was so excited to learn about a group of like-minded, professional women that gathered to help, learn and grow with each other.
Name a woman that inspires you and why.
Heather Whitestone has inspired me since I was a little girl. She was the first deaf Miss America title holder. Her determination and work ethic outshined the struggles she faced. I felt like I could relate, having severe learning disabilities, and through her story was encouraged by a greater narrative.
Tell us about your family.
I grew up with two wonderful sisters and supportive parents in Georgia.
Fun fact.
I have a pet black bunny named Scout who is my work-from-home companion.
